What happens if you accidently put oil in your lawn mower instead of fuel?
I put oil in my lawnmower where the fuel goes. There was no drain so I tipped it upside down and got most of it out, but there's still some in there. Will it be ok if I just put petrol in over the oil or do I have to get all the oil out? And any ideas on how to get the oil out?
that would be an "opps" if you got out as much as you can then put in the gas and let the unit run. it will smoke out the exhaust but wont hurt anything. just remember next time to mix the gas and oil if you have a 2 cycle and if its a 4 cycle then put the oil in the oil tube. it does take a special oil for 2 cycle. look before you put anything in the engine.
